Originally from South Korea, I've lived in the UK since 2013. After spending two years in Seoul working with hospitals and exploring home, I returned to the UK in 2022. I'm currently based in Brighton.
I bring over 13 years of experience working in design, social innovation, health and wellbeing throughout the UK and South Korea. I work with individuals and teams to be more intentional about how they design services and experiences, and I am passionate about working to improve people's mental health and wellbeing.
I am currently working as an interim co-head of service design at Barnardo's Innovation Lab in the UK. I am also a lecturer at Ewha Woman's University in Seoul and a certified coach.
Previously, I worked as a service design director at Seoul Medical Centre, a senior service designer at Innovation Unit, and a designer at Shift, A New Direction, Care City and other creative agencies.
I see design and coaching as a tool for growth. Getting people to engage in challenging conversations in an open, thoughtful and playful way, I believe we learn a lot and understand something powerful through that journey.
